Helping teams and leaders do the best work of their lives.
Let's make things better.
Connect on LinkedInI’m Jason Piskiel, a senior technology leader, transformation coach, and builder of better systems, teams, and ways of working.
For the last 15 years, I’ve helped organizations deliver better software, lead real change, and build teams that create great products. I’ve led transformations for over 10,000 people, saving millions and building cultures where people can think clearly, move faster, and actually enjoy the work.
Some of the work I’m proudest of:
- Coaching hundreds of engineers and product leaders
- Embedding Extreme Programming and test-driven development into real teams. Not just decks.
- Designing tools that cut manual discovery by 75%
- Helping leaders find clarity in the middle of chaos
Today, I work independently through my consulting practice, Platygus (yes, a platypus with wings), helping organizations connect strategy to execution, and turn transformation into something more than a buzzword.
What I Believe
- Great teams don’t just deliver fast. They learn fast.
- Metrics should make decisions easier, not harder.
- Leaders who listen outlast leaders who lecture.
- Transformation isn’t about frameworks. It’s about helping people do the best work of their lives.
- The story you tell yourself about the work shapes how you show up—and how your teams behave.
- Real change is built on continuous improvement and deep respect for the people doing the work.
- Clarity and authenticity are becoming rare, and are more valuable than ever.

A Bit More Personally
I started as a software engineer. I learned fast that most problems aren’t technical. They’re human.
Since then, I’ve been a tech lead, transformation coach, product owner, improv facilitator, and mentor. I have a background in theater, which taught me to listen harder, adapt faster, and stay steady when the pressure’s on.
When I’m not consulting or coaching, I’m writing, building side projects, or exploring where AI and real human thought collide.
Let’s Talk
If you want someone who can bridge the human and technical sides of change, and help your teams actually get better: I’d love to connect.
